The medical team at CHI St. Francis Health Primary Care & Walk in Clinic is here when you need to be seen for a variety of minor medical conditions and minor injuries that need attention.

Our clinic is open 7 days a week. Appointments are welcome, however walk-in service is available too.

Allergy Care

Allergies are physiological reactions caused when the immune system reacts to a foreign substance (allergen) that has been inhaled, touched, or eaten by a person. Allergies are among the most common heath problems, with more than 50 million people afflicted with asthma, seasonal hay fever, or other allergy-related conditions each year.

Allergy symptoms vary by person.  Common symptoms of allergies include:

  • Nasal stuffiness
  • Sneezing
  • Nasal itching
  • Nasal discharge (runny nose)
  • Red, itchy, watery eyes
  • Red, itchy, dry skin
  • Hives or itchy welts
  • Asthma (airway problems, such as shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing)

Allergy triggers vary from person to person and they can be seasonal or year-round. These include:

  • Pollen – microscopic particles released from trees, grasses, or weeds
  • Outdoor molds
  • Dust mites – tiny insects that live in house dust
  • Animal dander – skin scales that furry or feathery pets shed
  • Mold spores – released from molds that for in warm, damp, dark places

Additional services

Our providers are certified to perform DOT physicals for truck drivers through the National Registry of certified medical examiners. Our providers also perform sports physicals for athletes and preoperative physicals for those needing surgery. All physicals including DOT, Sports, and Preoperative are performed according to provider availability.  We also offer laboratory and radiological services as well as orthopedic referrals and injections.
