Brief, pleasant visits by family and friends are an excellent form of recovery. These principles guide St. Francis's policy on patient visitations:
- Patient wishes are respected.
- Medical indications determine visitation privileges.
- You or your physician may limit visitors at any time.
- Please keep our patients safe by not visiting when you are ill.
Children must be supervised at all times. They must not be sick and are to remain in the patient's room.
General: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Visitation at other hours are permitted if patient so wishes.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Visiting hours will be determined based on the patient's condition.
Families must check with the ICU nursing staff for visiting times. Nursing staff will consult with patient on their wishes for visitation. Children under the age of six(6) are not allowed in the ICU.
Obstetrical Unit: Visitation Support Person may visit at any time and are encouraged to do so. A pull out sleeping couch is available.
